Bye bye, humanity

It's a sad day for mankind. Some scientists at the University of Alberta (obviously with too much time on their hands and a hatred for human confidence) have solved checkers. SOLVED.
They've created a computer program that cannot lose. By analyzing every single move in every single possible game of checkers, the scientists have trained Chinook for every scenario. If you play a perfect game against it, you can tie. But never win.
[Machinist - Chinook, the unbeatable, checkers-playing computer]
Testing the 500 billion billion scenarios (that's 20 zeros) has taken nearly 20 years of continuous computations on several HUNDRED processors and proves once and for all that machines are better than men. And that Canadians are nerds.
(What? You're still skeptical that a computer can go undefeated for life? You say you can BEAT the machine because you used to beat your little brother at checkers all the time? Fine, try it for yourself. Chinook accepts your challenge.)
